https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/media-b ... iers-bidenMedia become scandal-deniers when it comes to Biden
Media say Republicans shouldn't waste time and money with hearings on Biden scandals
The media excoriate "election deniers," but when it comes to the Bidens, they sound like scandal deniers. Suddenly, the cheerleaders and champions of live prime-time hearings of the Pelosi-picked Jan. 6 panel are scolding Republicans that they shouldn't waste everyone's time and money with hearings on Biden scandals.
Four years ago, Axios was touting "Democratic hit list: At least 85 Trump investigation targets." Politico ran a piece titled "How to Flood the Trump Administration With Investigations."
Now, Axios is warning "Biden-district Republicans brush off impeachment talk." Politico is also putting on the brakes: "The latest victim from House GOP's election night: impeachment."
Forget the revenge impeachments. How about simple hearings? The Associated Press put out a story with the headline "House GOP pushes Hunter Biden probe despite thin majority."
Does anyone remember a story headlined "House Democrats push January 6 probe despite thin majority"? Democrats are always justified, according to their Associated Publicists.
AP reporter Colleen Long lined up Democrats and nervous Republicans to sound alarms that the GOP is destined to overdo this oversight thing.
Legal analyst Jonathan Turley underlined this line from AP: "Joe Biden has said he's never spoken to his son about his foreign business, and nothing the Republicans have put forth suggests otherwise." Doesn't that sound like angry Democrats beating their keyboards?

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/11/2 ... d-00070924Biden administration reacts with caution to China protests
The Biden administration is responding cautiously to weekend protests across China, reflecting in part a U.S. desire to stabilize a vital but increasingly adversarial relationship with Beijing.
There were no statements or tweets on the protests from President Joe Biden, who met with President Xi Jinping this month on the sidelines of the G-20 in a bid to ease tensions. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and national security adviser Jake Sullivan also avoided comment, and their official spokespersons didn’t issue any statements by name.
Rather, in response to reporters, an unnamed National Security Council spokesperson offered slightly critical comments Monday focused mainly on what appeared to spur the demonstrations: anger over China’s zero-Covid policy, which has led to severe lockdowns and which many protesters blame for the deaths of several people in a fire in Xinjiang province.
“As we’ve said, we think it’s going to be very difficult for the People’s Republic of China to be able to contain this virus through their zero Covid strategy,” the spokesperson said in the statement, adding that measures such as boosting vaccination rates were more useful. “We’ve long said everyone has the right to peacefully protest, here in the United States and around the world. This includes in the PRC.”
As of mid-day Monday in Washington, the protester numbers had thinned in Beijing and Shanghai over the previous 24 hours. But reports of demonstrations spreading to the city of Hangzhou on Monday indicated that authorities have yet to quell the anger — including calls for an end to Xi’s leadership — that has brought people into the streets.
Biden aides are keenly aware that protest movements can be unpredictable. Protests in China are not unusual, but they are often limited in scope and location, and the Chinese Communist Party tends to move quickly to quash anything it perceives as a serious challenge to its authority.
A U.S. official familiar with the issue, who like others for this story spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, said the Biden administration had to consider an array of factors in deciding how to respond. A strident U.S. statement, for instance, could lead the Chinese government to turn the focus on the United States and allege “foreign interference” rather than addressing the frustrations of the protesters.
Despite the acrimony, the United States still wants to maintain a base level of stability and cooperation with China, an important global power and economic partner whose help it wants on everything from pandemic preparedness to battling climate change.
The Biden team’s response to the China protests will likely contrast starkly with its quick and vocal support at high levels for protests in Iran, which have been ongoing since mid-September. But Iran is at best a regional power whose Islamist regime has been an avowed enemy of America for more than 40 years, and there is little trade or other cooperation between the two countries.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/28/us/p ... -2024.htmlBiden Helped Democrats Avert a ’22 Disaster. What About ’24?
Expecting a cataclysmic midterm election, many Democrats had been bracing for an end-of-year reckoning with whether President Biden, who once declared himself a “bridge” to a new generation, should give way to a new 2024 standard-bearer.
But the stronger-than-expected Democratic showing has taken the pressure off.
And Donald J. Trump’s decision to announce a run for president again, and the Republican backlash against him, have abruptly quieted Democrats’ public expressions of anxiety over Mr. Biden’s poor approval ratings, while reminding them of Mr. Biden’s past success over Mr. Trump.
Now, as Mr. Biden mulls a decision over whether to seek a second term, interviews with more than two dozen Democratic elected officials and strategists suggest that, whatever misgivings some Democrats may harbor about another Biden candidacy, his party is more inclined for now to defer to him than to try to force a frontal clash with a sitting president.
In recent days, officials ranging from Representative Henry Cuellar, one of the most conservative House Democrats, to Representative Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, have said they would support another Biden bid.
In private conversations, younger Democratic operatives have shifted from discussing potential job opportunities in a competitive presidential primary to gaming out what a Biden re-election campaign might look like. And a variety of lawmakers have lauded Mr. Biden for the party’s history-defying midterm performance, crediting him with the major legislative accomplishments they were able to run on and with pressing a message that cast Republican candidates as extremists who threatened democracy.
Already, Mr. Biden appears to be improving Democrats’ confidence in him: A recent USA Today/Ipsos poll found that 71 percent of Democrats surveyed believe he could win in 2024, up from 60 percent who said the same in August, though they were evenly divided on whether he should be the 2024 nominee.
The concerns about Mr. Biden’s overall weak standing in public opinion polls — which was a burden for many Democratic candidates — have not dissipated entirely. And some Democrats say that the challenges confronting the 80-year-old president and his party should not be glossed over in the party’s relief over the outcome of the elections.
Stanley B. Greenberg, the veteran Democratic pollster, pointed to a postelection survey that highlighted Democratic vulnerabilities. The poll, conducted by the organization Mr. Greenberg helped found, warned of “the continuing risk of a Republican challenge centered on borders and crime.” It determined that “Trump may have been weakened in this election, but another leader with that message” poses “an accelerated risk.”
In an interview, Mr. Greenberg said he came away from the survey “believing Democrats have huge issues to address.” While “President Biden has done remarkable things,” he added, “I think we need a new voice to address huge challenges but also huge opportunities.”
Surveys of voters leaving the polls found that two-thirds, including nearly a third of Democrats, said they did not want Mr. Biden to run for president again — though Mr. Biden’s allies have noted those numbers are not predictive of how voters would respond when presented with a choice between the president and a Republican candidate. At a postelection news conference, Mr. Biden insisted that those poll ratings would not affect his decision. He has said that he intends to run but planned to discuss the race with his family over the holidays and could announce a decision early next year.
David Axelrod, who served as chief strategist for President Barack Obama, said the midterm elections had given Mr. Biden “a little giddyup in his step.” As for a run for a second term, Mr. Axelrod said, “If he were 60 and not 80, there would be absolutely no doubt.”

I think there is some confusion here - provoking a war, crashing the economy and allowing unlimited migrant flows are, generally, bad things. Looked at in that light Biden might be considered a disaster.

If Americans believed that - they wouldn't be the country they are today with the economic power they rely on. Immigration made the USA what they are today. Immigration from Mexico made California the 4th biggest economy in the world. Nothing backs up immigration hysteria.
And wars are the cash lifeline of credit with no limit for countries. And in the case of the US wars are necessary to let the CIA simply lose 2 billion plus with no paper trail. Money flowing for 20 years in Afghanistan. Halliburton rebuilding Iraq/Afghan infrastructure supposedly. I think the US will revert to pre-WW2. Let Europe fend for itself and make money seemingly helping.
