2/3's or 66% who voted say Basran made Kelowna worse.
Does anyone know what letter grade a teacher gives for 34% performance?
34% sure sounds like a fail.
Who knows nowadays. Seems everyone gets an A rating just for showing up.

A passing grade would be 50% or more vote that Kelowna has improved or remained the same.
Of the current 43 votes here, the combined votes for "made it better" and "had no impact" are only 35%.
35% is below the 50% threshold.
FAIL.

That is for the votes of less than a full load of bus passengers.
It means nothing.

I like how people SUPPORT some "polls" and deny others...........bottom line polls are useless and its been proven time and time again. How do 1000 people surveyed speak for the majority on whatever it is being done for...........its all bull
!
..........back to the subject though..........Basran was, is and always will be a useless sack of
and has played a huge part in Kelowna's infrastructure decline and a 30% property tax increase in 7 years.

Properly conducted random sampling polls hold some weight, but voluntary internet polls are completely meaningless.

Did Basran have anything to do with the BC Assessments values increasing exponentially in the last 7 years? Did he have anything to do with property taxes across the province increasing by pretty much the same percent that Kelowna's did?lesliepaul wrote: ↑Nov 29th, 2022, 1:31 pm I like how people SUPPORT some "polls" and deny others...........bottom line polls are useless and its been proven time and time again. I'm not saying I'm a Basran supporter, frankly I could take him or leave him. But I can see the forest for the trees and know that development was not the only thing he has done for this City. And I wouldn't say that Kelowna's infrastructure has declined at all, more that the population growth in the last 8 years has put pressures on and is outpacing the current infrastructure

And almost everyone on here who voted against Basran are looking at a confirmation bias. The people most likely to respond to this little vote are people already looking at the world through a predisposed bias. Every hear of confirmation bias and why polls are so unreliable?
