Post by raft-cove »

Shoot them down, expose their spies and boot them from country.

40 year old university students?

Home makers with $15 million dollar properties?

Something doesn't smell right about any of this.

Shoot down a Chinese weather balloon, kick the Chinese commies out of Canada?
No can do. Not in Canada.

“There is a level of admiration I actually have for China because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime and say we need to go green, we need to start, you know, investing in solar,” Justin Trudeau told the group of women. “There is a flexibility that I know [Prime Minister] Stephen Harper must dream about: having a dictatorship where you can do whatever you wanted, that I find quite interesting.”

I'm sure spy weather balloons and people going to school well into adulthood go well together in your head, but ...

CNN is reporting that the pilots who intercepted the craft shot down yesterday over Alaska reported no visible means of propulsion that it generated interference with their instruments. It apparently wasn't a balloon.

The object shot down today has not been described as a balloon as of yet. An "object" has been shot down.

Friday morning over Kelowna :

https://www.cnn.com/2023/02/11/politics ... index.html
F-35 fighter jets were sent up to investigate after the object was first detected on Thursday, according to a US official. Kirby told reporters that the first fly-by of US fighter aircraft happened Thursday night, and the second happened Friday morning. Both brought back “limited” information about the object.

But the pilots later gave differing reports of what they observed, the source briefed on the intelligence said.

Some pilots said the object “interfered with their sensors” on the planes, but not all pilots reported experiencing that.

Some pilots also claimed to have seen no identifiable propulsion on the object, and could not explain how it was staying in the air, despite the object cruising at an altitude of 40,000 feet.
This is CNN remember so take with a healthy dose of skepticism but the fact they printed that is pretty crazy.

Now this "object" they shot down today.

Plus the mysterious burn out over Kelowna.

pretty sad that trudeau has to have the americans shoot it down instead of sending our own air force . it is a balloon not a MIG . i am sure our old jets could handle it . if not what do we even have an air force for ?

In this latest one over the Yukon, Trudeau said that he asked the US to shoot it down - and they obliged. Doesn't say much for confidence in our own air force! https://www.castanet.net/news/Canada/41 ... over-Yukon

If this is China trying to start something with the US do we really want get involved in that fight?

I don't.

I think it's been very intentional that only US forces have fired the shots.

There were US and Canadian jets up there together today.

Elmendorf and Eielson are way closer than Cold Lake, I think the US would be there far quicker
