Sitting in a coffee shop this morning with my 9 year old grandson and seeing his reaction when I asked if he wanted to go to the Blazers first playoff game on Friday. :yahoo:

Not just today, but every day I smile because there is a black capped chickadee that lands in a small tree and chirps at me until I stop and tell it how sweet and cute it is. It hops around, wipes it's little beak on the branches and then hops down into the bird bath and splashes around. I kind of wonder if we are engaged now. 😂 Maybe I shouldn't have said, "I love you!" to the little thing.

Pictures of my 7-month-old grandson travelling around and getting spoiled by his relatives in Columbia.

Oh gosh…I’m another who declares their love to the fauna. I like to believe they understand English.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

This family was up all night and they couldn’t sleep. So they decided to tire themselves out by dancing the night away! Wait till you see mom and her son grooving along to “Dear Future Husband” by Meghan Trainor.

I think they can feel what you're saying. It's so adorable the way that little birdy acts and I think he knows it. The little chirp he does now is new. All winter he'd yell "Dee dee" at me to get my attention so I'd "Dee dee" right back at him. lol I can't chirp like him though. Yet.
