Russia is not "taking over Ukraine".

The United States/NATO is trying to take over Ukraine.

The United States regime changed Ukraine in 2014 and Joe Biden put his drug addict son in Ukraine's biggest energy company. The United States was trying to take over Ukraine and were in thr process of scraping out everything of value in the country.

Russia has stopped the US from taking over Ukraine.

I suspect thats whats behind the last big push to empty Europe's arsenals. And the last trickle of Leopards and Migs. They still need time to prepare.

I think thats the last ditch Ukie plan - theyll accept losing Crimea and the Donbas, which really wouldnt ever get back anyway. But they need to establish facts on the ground and seize the other 2 provinces back. Then declare a ceasefire with US/Chinese security guarantees.

Targeting a Russian CP from an AWACS, meh, I'll go with "uniformed hyperbole". If you'd have gone with Combat Sent, or Cobra Ball, I'd call it a great allocation of resources. Could be wrong, they don't talk about it much, but I suspect most of the really rich targeting information comes from a CL600 ARTEMIS Brio running racetrack over Romania. (I think I read somewhere that's a contract ship and crew.)
