Imo … Americans care more about their guns, than placing bans on them, or more restrictions.
I’ve talked to my Americana friends that have guns and talk to them about this.
Every one of them said they do not want any more restrictions on guns.

It's extremely rare for women to be violent like this (although, black women are more likely to murder than white men, but that's another story). I'm thinking that she's either she's an extremist atheist or was abused by the school and wanted to get revenge. I'm guessing it's the latter, but no facts are out yet.

The solution needs to be re-framed. If you say, "hey, we are going to take away your guns, you law abiding citizen," you will never get anywhere. Instead, you need to say, "we won't ban you from owning guns, but will instead pass laws to ban criminals from having guns," you will get public buy-in.

Similarly, the UK is having a rash of knife attacks and killings, but no on wants knife bans. Same in Canada just today a guy gets stabbed to death in broad daylight in Vancouver. What we all want is police and criminal laws to target wife beaters, violent criminals, etc. and leave regular people alone.

Its kind of funny cause usually "USA school shooting" is a dog bites man story. Then I saw "female" and thought "wow, how unusual, never heard that before" so I read the story. Kind of a misleading headline i think.
