SCUMBAGS - Ukrainian men who won't willingly go to slaughter.

The arrested individuals presented fake documents, hid in transport, and tried to bribe border guards, according to the Aug. 3 statement. At least 2,400 of them got arrested as they tried to go through the passport control to leave the country. Border guards refused to accept a total of Hr 3.5 million ($95,000) in bribes among the cases.

^ That makes me physically sick.

How could Ukrainian men try to bribe border guards with $95,000 to leave the country at a time when Kolomoisky stole $5 billion from a Ukrainian bank and Zelensky visited him to discuss how to spend it, and neither USA nor Israel is arresting Kolomoisky?

There are always 2 points that I see come up in MSM articles of how Ukraine can 'win'.

First is "NATO tactics"... generally it goes something like "Yes Russia has more soldiers, better equipped but you know, NATO tactics". I'd love a real world example of what these actually are and, when they've been proven in battle against a non 3rd world foe

The other is "Western tech", which sort of flows from the whole washing machine meme... so, what is this tech? If anything the war has shown that outside of ISR Russian equipment is leaps and bounds better than Western kit.

There is a 3rd factor, and I cringe cause I actually read this in the NYT, is Ukraine's moxie Moxie and a twonie will buy you a cup of coffee, thats about it.

From the Bush era on the Yanks went all-in on COIN, to the neglect of their conventional war fighting ability. And their air force is doin who knows what with the F35 and the next-gen stealth bomber. It is the US Navy which is truly the guarantor of their hegemonic world power. But thats not much use in a European land war. This partially explains the flailing, disjointed response. The Americans forgot how to fight a real foe.

Canada is an ally to Ukraine, Russia is an enemy. In a civilized society, invading a foreign country, and sponsoring terrorism is a gross violation of international law.

And Canada is not an ally to Ukraine but to the Zelensky regime - there's a big difference. Canada hates peasants in Ukraine - and is an ally to Fink-Blackrock, and will resort to terrorism for big business.

Fat Nuland invaded Ukraine spnsored terrorism, killed 15,000 Ukrainians and violated international law.

Or some kind of arrangement where Western pilots 'resign' and then are hired by Ukraine. It will be sold as purely defensive, to intercept Russian drones and missiles. But I do think NATO will start to extend an AD shield over Ukraine.

Yowzers, the Ukrainians gave Lindsey Graham a "deep dive" into their plans and the Russians are in for "a rude awakening".

I take that to mean Team Biden/Blinken/Nuland sent him over there to give the Ukrainians their marching orders. They keep stalling and Uncle Sam keeps poking them in the back with a stick.

From what Ive read their only objective will be to take this Zapo nuke plant back and call it a win. And you know what, the Russkies might just let em have it.

Do you really think Russia is going to say "oh well the NATO pilots changed ID cards so technically NATO is not shooting down Russian planes!"

It's NATO and the United States that make the suggestion that they are not at war with Russia. Russia is the one saying that NATO is directly attacking them and NATO is trying to take over their country.

If Russia starts to lose in a meaningful way they will probably use nuclear weapons, especially if there are continued attacks inside Russia. Our insane position is that Russia is too chicken poop to use nukes and we can just keep on hammering them and try to kill Putin and Russia will just let us destroy them without using their nuclear weapons.

If we start winning, it's nuclear war. That's that goal - to push Russia to that level.

RIght now BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is 41.5% of the worlds population and a emerging power. MIddle East joining soon. This new force exists completely outside of the United States sanction and military sway umbrella and was created due to NATO expansion and the war in Ukraine and the US trying to take over Taiwan.

Now that Ukraine is flying drones into Moscow, Russia has been justified in their concern about Ukraine becoming a hostile force to Russia. If Russia didn't attack and Ukraine joined NATO and some ultra nationalist government got into power there and started terror bombing Russia with drones it's obvious Russia would be at risk because Ukraine is a giant glaring flank into Russia. Whether or not Russia attacked has no bearing on Ukraines proximity to Moscow and ability to attack Moscow and thus - is a threat to Russia. That has been proven.

It's just like why the US would not tolerate a military power 90 miles off their coast.

This is a WWI style stalemate trench style war between two great powers and Russia has a 12:1 artillery advantage.

Russia has a internal military industrial complex that can directly supply their front line with troop, vehicles and supplies and Ukraine completely depends on credit cards and FedEx from overseas and can't keep their lights on.
