Well, 13 of them are gone - and that's just the ones we have pictures of. From only one location. From one Ukranian unit. According to BILD, which is hardly a fan of Russia, so can't expect them to inflate the numbers.

Also crazy to see so many very expensive tanks getting taken out with drones that cost a few thousand dollars. There is a clip of suicide drones taking out a tank a 3 armored carriers literally one-by one within minutes. 10's of millions of dollars gone for the price of a used Honda.

Everyone makes fun of Russia for being poor but Frank Herbert knew what happens when you have a society with the most oppressive conditions - you get a very tough and innovative and adaptable group of people. The US military actively shorts certain groups amenities, equipment and comforts to ensure they stay highly adaptable.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a surprise visit to Kyiv on Saturday as the Ukrainian military stepped up its long-anticipated counteroffensive to drive the Russian army out of occupied eastern and southern regions of the battered country.

Trudeau arrived in the Ukrainian capital as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's government struggled to assess the damage and mount further downstream evacuations following the destruction of the giant Nova Kakhovka dam. The prime minister is in Ukraine with Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland.

This is where things get really dangerous, the West has no Plan B. It was always Wunderwaffe + NATO training + Ukie morale = win bigly, Putin overthrown, USA USA!

Pretty quick the Ukrainians will turtle and try to save their remaining forces. So at that point... what? We have no more weapons, they have no more men. Thats my concern is the Ukrainians will say "you said whatever it takes, NATO troops now!"

The alternative is Blinken/Nuland resign in shame, and I think theyd rather destroy the world than lose.

I feel bad for them.

The only defense at that range is preventing the helicopters from taking off at all. The KA-52 was literally designed for this type of theater. Open wheat fields filled with advancing tanks. The Russians have everything mined so all the vehicles get funneled into killboxes and that's that the Russians just pick em off.
