As far "us" as supporting the Seniors, I have felt for a very long time that by the time I retire, the pensions will be long gone. Do I begrudge paying into them, with these thoughts? Not a freaking chance! A hell of a lot of Seniors that I know went through life busting their behinds @ lower paying jobs, and their pensions SUCK. If my monthly input even slightly helps to add a bit to the monthly amount that they recieve..I say it's all good!

If I don't count my weekly babysitting gigs and tutoring in high school I've had....hmmm...9 jobs in 15 years. I'm on the best one yet though. Stay at home mom. :)

In 21 years, I've had 15 jobs. Although it sounds 'whoah high', over the past ten years I've had 3 jobs also incorporating a career change closer to what I'd gone to college for prior to marriage and motherhood; and the other 12 were seasonal and encompassed 2-3 jobs at a time while in highschool/college, and administering a family business while married and employed.

Ive had 7 jobs since I entered the work force. Started when I was 13 years old as a dishwasher at a golf course and have moved up the "food chain" ever since...lol My longest job was for over 18 years...which i left recently and am now doing something completely different and loving it. I think Ill stay here for awhile....

I have had 3 careers in 45 years and still work in and enjoy all of them. That is not counting jobs as a student and a few jobs I had just after graduation.

I have had 6 jobs outside the home since my teens. I also spend MANY years in the home raising my kids ...(most important job ever!) And, a tiny bit of time volunteering in an ER and for the Red Cross.
