[icon_lol2.gif] who's going to eat more than a few blueberries? No one can afford them.
If you buy in bulk from the grower the price is not bad. They freeze well especially with a vacuum sealer. They keep forever in the freezer that way.

Great for muffins etc.

Sure, if diabetics just put blueberries in their muffins, the rest of the carbs in the muffins don't spike their blood sugar.

Muffins, anything with white bleached flour is evil.

Clearly a depopulation and kind control plot by big wheat.

So sorry Suds, I debated momentarily on what gendre you might be, but since from your photo you look a bit feminine, I decided to just wing it. Perhaps if you changed your name to Mr. Bsuds it would be simpler. I do not keep tabs on everyone's gendre so no, I wouldn't have figured that out.
I am in awe that you can even make muffins, I'm a scrambled eggs omelette, and meat/chicken person myself. \My doctor is happy with my A1c too, not surprisingly since I don't eat much carbs.

Wish I could say that. I'm a Breadaholic. Stick to whole wheat/whole grains though.

Make my own in a bread machine occasionally. Too busy to do it a the time.

Folks that focus on one ingredient and beat it like a dead horse simple don’t understand the concept of proper diet an nutrition…. And frankly they may never understand…. But give em a pill and those folks will rejoice in the bliss of not understanding. :smt045

Hahahhhahah - the dumb website produced by a dummy tells us some things about blueberries and then says
it’s recommended to consume no more than 1-2 cups of blueberries per day

..
I grow my own berries so the only question is, who's going to pick them?

Look up glycemic load…
I’m pretty sure I’ve stated several times to avoid processed foods…. But it seems some are so focused on blueberries, apples, and oranges. :135:

So you don’t know what the glycemic load is for corn meal, flour, and sugar? I know… I also know you can google it… it really is simple when you are given bread crumbs to follow.
In fact most diabetics that are serious about their condition has the index and load charts close at hand.
