Agreed!liisgo wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2023, 7:59 amWe definitely need a government that gets back to running a country and not spending all its time on dealing with peoples emotional personal lives. The amount of energy, time and money spent satisfying, cuddling and supporting everyone's claims of personal unfairness and oppression is getting extremely old.
The polls are reflecting Canadians' desire to focus on what matters - food on the table, roof over their heads, good education for their kids.

Both parties did. And that's the problem. Thank you Pierre for showing us a clear path to victory and a better Canada!steven lloyd wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2023, 6:21 am
Pretty much, and despite the disappointment with Trudeau's governance the Cons went on to lose the next two elections.

Which recession is that?Gone_Fishin wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2023, 7:58 am So nice to have a loving couple with strong family values who will be leading our country out of recession and despair.
So nice to have his wife that narrate a tribute to Mr Poilievre, with a true love that is evident to all, even in her second language (she's fluent in three). A brilliant lady!
What a nice change!

And isnt Pierre's wife, part of the Galindo and Prato families?

commission of the crimes of HELPING ESCAPE OF DETAINEE and ASSOCIATION Organized Crime and the Financing of Terrorism.
Guess we know why Pierre refused that background check.

Babbling on about blackface being in the past, and yet idiotic Liberal numbskulls still going on about what Pierre did in 2006.

The case is far from closed. Pierre had 2 gay men as legal guardians during his formative years yet he still chose to vote against gay marriage…..while one of the dads was sitting in the House of Commons. If he cared about his gay legal guardians in the slightest -and the gay community as a whole - he wouldn’t have done this

No it actually hasn’t. Pierre’s gay dad was expecting his son to vote in favour of gay marriage. Pierre refused while his dad looked on in the HOC heartbrokenBabba_not_Gump wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2023, 3:04 pm>insert eye roll<

Pierre isn’t a compassionate person who cares about his family let alone the average Canadian. No sensible person should be voting for this guy

Re: Pierre!
Besides, it's far more likely Poilievre's dad knew full well how Poilievre was voting, and why, and was there to support him. IMO, assuming the dad was "heartbroken" is just the sort of stereotyping masquerading as "caring" we've come to expect from those engaging in "victim narrative" identity politics. Poilievre won't be perfect. He will be a breath of fresh air after all the "victim narrative" drama.

What else was included in the bill. That's the big question. How can someone responsibly vote yes on a bill when there are bad things hidden within it.

Uhh, you’re contending his gay dad (who wanted to marry another man) fully supported his son voting against gay marriage so hurried off to the HOC to see the vote?rustled wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2023, 3:52 pmBesides, it's far more likely Poilievre's dad knew full well how Poilievre was voting, and why, and was there to support him.
