You have a dirty mind...I like you!
Sadly my Wife recently passed away so I purchased a bottle of 20 year old scotch and poured it on her grave.

I did filter it through my Kidneys first.

Being sent to the store to buy smokes for my Pap.
No note needed. Just a reminder.

"Hey, remember to stop, look, and listen before crossing the street,
don't run across, but don't doddle either."

Hmmm.. that got lost somewhere in parenting 101. :smt045

Friends and myself walking down the streets with air rifles, 22's,
spring traps, and snare wire to go harvest gophers.

Take the tails to the pawn shop to collect bounty.

Getting a raise from 10 cents to a quarter a tail..Wow..Huge raise.

Tribal rivalry between us (French kids) & the wee English bandits in our 70s Ottawa neighborhood...

Eventually we reached an age when we all became friends ... mostly because of each other's sisters. Lol

(well, not ALL, never could stand that nasty ginger pr*ck after he took-off with my pillow case full of Halloween bounty - :swear: )

I like my paper mapbooks.
I like how they don't disappear on a small iphone screen or lose connectivity.
Today?
Someone referred to me as being, "stuck in the 80s."
Ummmm, when your googlemaps fails, my small town papermap book is always there.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

Google maps....Hahahaha.. When I use google maps, I have a pen and paper handy
and I copy from the google machine and turn it into a paper map for my
quick reference driving map.

Usually find once drawing it out, or just the written out highway designations
and direction to turn, I don't need it any longer because its memorized.

Goes for street mapping too.

Last time I used Google Maps it tried to convince me that We had to cross the Strait of Georgia , TWICE to get to Horseshoe Bay from Port Coquitlam . Twaassen , Swartz Bay to Departure Bay and over ...

I remember that nearly all houses had screen doors, often front and back.. then one day they just vanished.
