New: Emergency in Iceland. The entire Blue Lagoon and Geothermal Power Plant are under threat and thousands of people are evacuating out of Grindavik right now.

The most dangerous volcanic threat in Italy right now is one you’ve probably never heard of: Campi Flegrei, or the Phlegraean Fields.

This unassuming plain, which stretches 200 kilometers (125 miles) under the bay of Naples and the islands of Capri and Ischia to the outskirts of the city of Naples, is a giant caldera, or depression, left by a supervolcano some 2 million years ago.

Around 800 earthquakes have been recorded in the seismic zone since midnight. The seismic activity has only decreased in the last few hours, which still remains high. The most seismic activity in the last few hours has been at the southwest end of the tunnel near Grindavik.

Iceland is on edge. There still has not been an eruption and it's a nail biter as to when and where it is going to happen. The town of Grindavik has been evacuated and all but destroyed by fissures in the earth. So sad.

So is a Super-volcano about happen, scientists have been sounding the alarm about what is under Yellowstone for as far back as I can remember.
