Just look at this wind warning for the other side of the border:

Wind I don’t like as it can be very scary. Hope no damage happens.

I'm guessing it's going to go straight up the valley. They won't be able to stop it at the border.

Edited to add:

And now there has been a slight update.

Friends from Prince George called last night, "It's going to be cold tonight, -25!"
It cooled down to -31! :200:

-36 last night at Chetwynd! Brrr. Coldest place in BC this morning.

PS. Here is every single daily temperature at Kamloops since 1896...

And for fun, Tatlayoko Lake in the Chilcotin...

Notice that for both places November 1985 had the most anomalously coldest day on record. For the latter, it was the coldest day on record.

I’ve got a chill today and it’s only just below freezing. Those temperatures are chilly.

Yeah, let's not issue a snowfall warning for one of the most 'treacherous' snow events of the season. Nice job EC

Big accident on Clifton, traffic was being turned back on Clifton and at Wilden the line up of waiting cars was long.

Snow fall warnings are based on depth. Only about 3cm fell today, and there needed to be 10.

Perhaps the inappropriate 'standards' for issuing a warning need to be amended

It was absolutely treacherous driving through town today. Heavy trailer (13000 lbs) in tow made climbing hills that much more exciting! Nothing like spinning all four knowing that cheitsabout to get nutz if anyone in front comes to a stop.
5:30 pm from airport area to upper mission, not a single truck sanding or anti-icing or evidence there off!

Exactly. No trucks sanding because donkeydonks at EC don't issue the warning. Nice to see tax dollars going to waste.
