Marc Andre Fleury is the 6th best goalie in NHL history. There is zero debate about that.

St. Louis would need to win every game to just get 101 points, Minnesota maximum is 99 points if they win every remaining games.

It pretty well a certainty Vancouver is in 2024 playoff, they currently have 98 points with 11 games remaining. They are 10 points up on Edmonton, hell of a comeback for Oilers.

Teams eliminated based on their current standings:
Eastern
New Jersey
Buffalo
Pittsburgh
Ottawa
Montreal
Columbus

Western
Calgary
Seattle
Arizona
Anaheim
Chicago
San Jose

Miracles could happen, highly doubtful.

There's zero room for debate, Nathan MacKinnon is the best player in NHL history not named Wayne Gretzky...

Mike Bossy was the greatest NHL player in history. He would have surpassed Gretzky if his career had not been cut short due to injuries. Prove me wrong. [icon_lol2.gif]

Checked the stats on Bossy, I think I'd take Guy Lafleur. Bossy was one of the greats in that era, no doubt.

Many great players today as well. It's a different game today as it was back in the late 80's.

Ovechkin just scored his 30th goal of the season, so Mike Gartner is no longer the greatest goal scorer in NHL his with 17 30 goal seasons. Ovi now has 18...

ABC - anywhere but Canada. Shoulda moved them back to Winnipeg and gave one to Quebec again. Coyotes have been such a joke for years, get them out of there.

There's only 1 game left in the season, and 4 teams are still in the hunt for the last spot in the east. If they all end up tied, Washington takes it even though they have the worse goal differential because they have the most regulation wins.

My team was eliminated last week so now I'm on the West Kelowna Warriors bandwagon. Great game 7 last night to knock out Cranbrook. Now bring on Salmon Arm!!

2024 Playoffs are almost completely set:

Eastern Conference:
Washington at New York Rangers
Tampa at Florida
New York Islanders at Carolina
Toronto at Boston

Western Conference:
LA or Vegas at Dallas
Nashville at Vancouver
Colorado at Winnipeg
Vegas or LA at Edmonton

If Vegas beats Anaheim tonight they get Edmonton.
