Nope, I agree 100% that's what happens.

Your co-worker Jonrox says taxes have nothing to do with the cost to the consumer.
I don't have a co-worker let alone know anyone called Jonrox.

I agree with BnG on this one. It's not fair to to pigeonhole all conservatives under a social conservative/religious label, but it would be fair to say that most strongly religious people hold conservative views.
Really, liberals, you need to stop the desperation of insisting you get to label everyone with your own opinions. Stick with the facts like the center politics' from the conservatives.

Could you imagine if someone came in here and yelled they wouldn't vote for Jagmeet Sign because he's a Sikh. Captain bigotbolt would be up in arms asking for bans, but make the same comments about Christians....A-O-K for some reason.

Baffling.

Never mind the BC Cons aren't a bible party, just called one as the left LOVES campaign bigotry, so out it comes.
The last time I won a prize at the fair everyone told me I was a winner, but really, the prize was crap, my wallet was empty and the only happy person was a Carney.

Now what's the NDP 's policy on Jews?
If the Liberals and supporters continue to avoid taking any responsibility for their own failings and address them, then they should not be surprised if they lose yet another election.

Canada is completely broken right now.

I think "from the river to the sea vote N-D-P" slogan might be the one they toss out come election time.

Like I said earlier, politicians can believe what they want. It's when they take their edicts from their beliefs and impose it on everyone. We're already soaking in our xtian culture/history enough as it is, we don't need more. Jagmeet Singh isn't going to impose the need to wear a turban and carry a kirpan on everyone.
Like I also said earlier, fundamentalist bible thumpers gravitate to the conservative side of the spectrum. This also goes for the fundamentalists of all religions present in our society.

To say that whoever disagrees with you is working for a party or is some kind of adherent can be said of you too. When you throw that insult, look in the mirror.

rustled wrote: Mar 25th, 2024, 9:24 am Let us know which of our civil and human rights are likely to be "limited" by the Conservative Party of British Columbia, and let us know how likely they'll be in achieving these limitations on our rights if they're elected.

We can then have an interesting time comparing the potential limitations of those civil and human rights with those already successfully limited by the current NDP government as they continue suppressing citizens' rights in pursuit of their own ideology.
1. Abortion. They talk about it, political suicide to eliminate abortions.
2. SOGI
for starters

The basis for the mindset comes out of religiosity. To have the belief that a dog (surely you can figure that out) will take care of it all and not harm its followers is what leads to all the anti-everything stances of the people that hold religious beliefs.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
It appears US voters hated Woke more than they hated Trump.

So it's clear to everyone, I did NOT write what was quoted. This poster inserted words into the quote. You can see for yourself if you click on the little up arrow on the top line of the quote.

Pretty sure the pot is calling the kettle black here.
I am continuously insulted and trolled and baited around here so it's rather sadly ironic that now all of a sudden people are taking umbrage with my comments. That old gem of a word - snowflake - fits right here. Or more grown-up - hypocrite.

Then they should shut up about it.
