I turn 50 this month.

I've come to realize that many of this forum's most active posters are around the age of my parents (76 and 82).

This is probably the only remaining place where people refer to "young people these days" and they mean me.

Happy birthday!

I know what you mean, I'm old on Instagram, but here I'm young.

54 this month, ugh.....can't believe I'm still here.....?
I'm tired of older people telling me that I'm still young....
I keep saying " it's not the age, it's the mileage".....
I feel like I got a million miles on the chassis. Tires have been patched, yet still need top ups. I leak some oil, burn some, suspension is weak, some of it has been replaced....mismatched ignition/door lock keys....& my paint is sunscorched, & some rusty spots...

Wait.....am I talking about my car or me? So old I forgot.
you may think I'm dumb, but I ain't so smart....

Happy Birthday. At least you’re not being called “whippersnapper”.

Old enough to have had Gumby and Pokey in my toy box once upon a time.

When I say I feel like Gumby no one understands except a couple my age. Have to watch what I say to some these youngsters.

Old enough to remember when strawberries were red on the inside, not white. 0.0
