Rest in Peace to Canada's famous author, Alice Munroe, died at age 93.

RIP Dutch.
I remember watching him on ITV out of Edmonton, back in the day....First time I heard his voice, I knew he was destined to be a sportscaster.

Darren "Dutch"yshen

We lose people every day and each life passed is mourned. But some sink a little deeper and Darren is one of them.

He was a sportscaster and a really good one. He was passionate and funny and he knew his stuff.

He, I am sure, wasn't loved universally. Very few are but he was dang good at his job and based on most of what I have watched over the past couple of nights, he was loved by many.

He fought hard the last few years of his life and ultimately lost his battle.

I will miss seeing him on TSN.
Praise the lord and pass the ammunition

Far too young, I always enjoyed his enthusiasm as sportscaster. My condolences to his family and friends.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
It appears US voters hated Woke more than they hated Trump.

Dabney Coleman died today.............RIP.

He had many great and well acted movie parts with "9 to 5" probably being his most recognized and several failed TV series that were hilarious.

President of Iran has died in a helicopter crash. How long will it take to have Israel blamed for it? Kidding, it was the inclement weather. So far. They do use the word "Martyred".

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-ea ... 024-05-20/

DUBAI, May 20 (Reuters) - Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his foreign minister were killed in a helicopter crash in mountainous terrain and icy weather, an Iranian official said on Monday, after search teams located the wreckage in East Azerbaijan province.
"President Raisi, the foreign minister and all the passengers in the helicopter were killed in the crash," the senior Iranian official told Reuters, asking not to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter.
Iran's Mehr news agency confirmed the deaths, reporting that "all passengers of the helicopter carrying the Iranian president and foreign minister were martyred".

Yep, all Martyrs!

Someone who dies rather than giving up their beliefs is not how they died!

Anyway, RIP to them all.

Oh come on Bsuds, do you really want them to rest in peace?

Anyways, since they didn't die as martyrs they won't be greeted by the 72 virgins.

Well considering there aren't enough Virgins to go around I would guess they are going to be pretty *bleep* about it.

I hope they have lots of hand cream where they are going.

Why? Let's hope they don't have any.
