Even Though my blood pressure spikes after reading some posts I find debating like this sharpens my skills and actually educates me because I have to have the links to defend what I've said. I've learnt some things from others and hopefully taught others as well still my gf calls me annoying for spending time on here and not with her.... Is withdrawing from family also a sign of addiction?

How ironic that we have a forum to confess our additions, where we feed our addictions by professing our problems!

Imagine if everyone brought a bottle of whisky to the AA meetings, and whoever was speaking had to take a drink for every word they spoke.

Good post.

I have also learnt (and continue to learn) a lot on here. I can't really say I get many blood pressure spikes, but do like getting my ideas challenged.

It is the intellectual stimulation that I like on here.

And we know it wasn't the Threads for Togs doing the intellectual stimulation....didn't you start a Bye Bye Castanet Thread announcing said intentions of never posting again due to grey hairs?

Keesa Inc. arrived back in Kelowna late last night, check Castanet, run out to McKinley Landing to check on the Terrace Mountain Fire and run back to say said fire is far, far, away....I guarantee you I am addicted but trying to cutback.
Regardless of who "wins" an election, they always are up against a Silent Elite. Do you believe the extreme poor who voted for Trump ever thought their non-profit support would be slashed right out from under them?

No, but I am never one to turn down a competition.

That was just my way of saying I am devastated about having grey hairs, whichthat means I have to actually stop acting 10 years younger than my age - I am just not ready to grow up.

When I have been away from Castanet, I don't miss it. (Okay, I miss keesa, but besides that...)

If I do have a problem, it is that I am an information junkie. If I can't get it from Castanet, I will get it from the radio, books, or elsewhere on the internet. It is not that I crave information when there is none to find, but if it is around, I just don't know when to stop.

In Glacier's case let's hope it's not receding grey hair! :spinball:

Wow, I have to say that I've done really well not posting during work hours until this morning. I just have absolutely nothing to do at work today and couldn't help myself. I know that probably might sound like a lame excuse to some or others might laugh, cuz they are doing the very same thing.

But thanks to all those who have responded and admitted their problem. Remember if you are in denial, you probably do have a forum addiction.
