Gluten-Free Kitchen

Post by kelownaceliac »

One of our members of the Kelowna Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association has written the following...

We are in the process of renovating our home and at the last minute we decided to get new kitchen cabinets. We were looking in books / web as to a great way to set up a gluten-free kitchen, but she still has regular cereals, breads etc.

We found a lot of information about utensils etc. but not a lot about what a dream gluten-free kitchen would look like. We obviously have ideas of our own, but through this might invoke some discussion from others on the forum.

Do you have a gluten-free Kitchen? Do you have any advice? Please let's chat about it in this thread.

I have the pantry divided up into 2 sections.

Separate butter dishes

Dedicated knives

Stainless steel cookware (no teflon) that is polished with SS polish after cooking with glutinous foods.

Dedicated toaster
