The fantastic slam poet at the opening ceremonies. If you didn't watch, you should search for his bit at the very least. I was VERY impressed.

Okay, when I watched that I had this thought: "Wow, someone wrote an excellent speech!"

Sorry, did not know that was "Slam Poetry." He did an excellent job.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Thanks Captain.

Hey ? When's your hockey game ? Aren't you like going to go down for at least a couple of nights and take in the "energy" ? Maybe go listen to a couple of protest speeches or something ? :dyinglaughing:

EDIT TO ADD: Oh yeah. Congratulations Shane =D>

Shane made the whole show, made me proud to be Canadian. Almost was worth the cost of the Olympics, but thats a different post.

Job well done Shane, thanks for making us proud.

Without a doubt, a total highlight of the opening ceremonies, but they introduced him from the NWT. What's the Penticton connection?

Born in NWT but raised in Penticton since grade 8. Google Shane Koyczan to see more of his work.
