Canada growing up when?

Post by westsidebud »

i would like to know, when will canada as a whole country and attitude grow up?

its time to reform our drug laws, its time to legalize prostatution.

its time to clean up our enviroment, its time to tell big companies that pollutue to clean up or get out.

its time all ppl had the same chance to get ahead, its time right wing thinking was put where it belongs , in the history books.

its time any politician gets even suspected of wrong doing, your gone, no pension, nothing,

its time our policeforces were made accounntable, no more sweeping under the rug.

its time we stand up to the americans and tell them if we disagree with you and you try and react, we will consider it a hostile act, we dont owe them anything.

its time evry child had proper healthcare.

its time to end poverty

And if you believe any of that will happen any time soon, I have a floating bridge to sell you.

It's time for some people to learn to spell. At least sometimes.

westsidebud, this may be difficult for you to comprehend, but many people would not agree that the points you raise constitute a country growing up.
You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.

well who would consider anything from the likes of you 2 fools? no one. lol just because i have the courage to say what most ppl wish they had the bails to say , means your just a fan lol.

im part of the move canada forward crowd, stephen and nebula are part of the keep canada in the darkages crowd

nebula considers himself some type of writer , well i have read his attempt at writing , my grandson can write better

stephen considers himself som great voice for the social changes that are needed in canada , yet when he speaks , its from a rightwing im 10 times better then anyone type of arrogance . 2 hypocrites that must have delusion fanatsys about their place in canada.

they represent what is wrong in canada , to much its all about me and if im not the centre of focus or someone else wants to put forth dynamic ideas , then i better try to derail what that person is saying or else im going to look silly.

i want canada to be a leader in how the world should be, unfortunatly ppl like nebula and stephen want to keep canada the americans lil puppy , following our master.

Sorry, I have to agree. Westside-your ramblings and rants have no credibility. In fact, for the most part they are impossible to read. If you want to be understood, maybe try a grammar/writing class. Then we can discuss growing up.

Too many members are taking other members to task over grammar and spelling errors. I think most of us have our pet peeves about such things (I like paragraph breaks, for example, and rarely read a long post that doesn't contain such breaks), however this board is not a classroom and the posts are not meant to be graded.

There are a couple of points I'd like to make:

1. The habit of correcting others for grammatical/spelling errors is rude. It is not your job, nor is there any place for such 'education' on this board. It pays to keep in mind that while it is not against the rules to make grammatical/spelling errors, it is against the rules to badger others about it.

2. I've noticed, with amusement, that people who feel the need to correct others invariably make plenty of their own grammatical and spelling errors. You know what they say about glass houses.

Well-meaning or not (and it is rarely well-meaning), please do not advise others on grammatical/spelling errors. If their failure to live up to your lofty standards offends, don't read their posts!

i think its time for jo to start banning the same clowns who think this is english class because it isnt
