So you're suggesting that because the alternative might be worse we should just shut up and not say anything and not expect anything more (like some honesty or accountability maybe) from the current buffoons wasting our tax dollars, dismantling our public services and amassing staggering debt for us to carry forward to the next three or more generations ? At least we were able to recover from NDP incompetence. We're going to be paying for the corrupt Ineptitude of this regime for the rest of our lives.
Actually all I'm saying is it's easy to complain but I don't see you offering up solutions or running for office.
The NDP are only a savior for the select unionized elite whose paycheck comes from the public coffers and when it comes to lying and cheating they beat any liberals I've ever seen hands down.
Perhaps some of you are disgruntled because the NDP taught the Liberals too well.

Oh and the NDP gets brought up because what other viable options do we have?
The Green Party? I don't think so.

Yes, but I do that in jest, (and because it always seems to get a reaction out of you)

You would think it would be easy to complain. It is also critically important that we complain and stop being so complacent. The reason we get screwed over so often by our politicians (of all stripes) is because we allow them to do it. I’ve offered many solutions for discussion many times on many different threads. Some posters have agreed with me on some, some have disagreed with constructive and well-thought out feedback on some and others have just responded with rhetoric. I’m not saying I’m necessarily right all the time, but I have given my ideas some thought based on evidence from research and direct experience in the field, and I’ve challenged old ideas I used to have. As for running for office, not a chance in h3ll.

That hasn’t been true for some time. You’ve never seen Gordon Campbell? I don’t think there’s been a more prolific and accomplished liar in the history of Canadian politics.

So, we currently have a group of criminal thugs running (that was for Al) our province and our choices are the NDP and the Green Party - and you think we should stop complaining ???

Late night crowds ask 'How do we get home?'
http://www.ctvbc.ctv.ca/servlet/an/loca ... lumbiaHome
By: Darcy Wintonyk, ctvbc.ca
Date: Sunday Feb. 21, 2010 1:01 PM PT
Amidst spontaneous renditions of ‘O Canada' and chants of ‘Go Canada Go,' a new battle cry is emerging every night on Granville Street: ‘How do we get home?'
With the last Canada Line SkyTrain leaving Waterfront Station almost two hours before downtown bars close at 3 a.m., hundreds upon hundreds of Olympic revelers – many of them angry – found themselves without a reliable way to get home Saturday night.
"We raise the flag with pride, but how do we get home Canada? Tell us, how do we get home?" one frustrated man yelled.
TransLink introduced a number of additional trips on many of its key routes to accommodate the surge of Olympic traffic. The SkyTrain Expo line is stopping service an hour later during the Games, its last trip leaving at 2:28 a.m. However, the last train times remain unchanged on the Canada Line – with the final departure leaving Waterfront Station at 1:15 a.m.
Stranded downtown without a ride, Katherine Green told CTV News the transit system should remain open later to account for the sea of partygoers in downtown Vancouver.
"I really think they should have kept it open almost 24 hours if not until four or five in the morning," she said. "It would have made sense for that."
Many shared her sentiment.
"What type of an Olympic city shuts down the public transit to people who know they're going to be out later until three in the morning?" one man asked.

Look at the bright side.
When the Olympics were in Beijing everybody had to wear masks.
At least here we give the athletes and spectators oxygen.
For free even.

While you're there, take a moment of silence to contemplate loss of legal aid, beds at the Hospice, thousands of laid off teachers, contracted out jobs for the Olympics, cut backs in homesupport, laid off long term care aides, lowering of creditials needed for Supervisors in IHA, Drop-In Center closing due to loss of funding,.....just a few of Conservative's Favourite Things....
