I'm a convert. I bitched and whined about schools, health care, and a multitude of other sacrifices we made, but when Neil Young got up and sang, that was it for me. Huge Neil fan, and if it cost 9 or 10 billion dollars to see him on the world stage, it was worth it.

Oh, and being best in the world at hockey ain't bad either.

Yeah, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies were cool. I was already a proud Canadian. I am every day.
