When i was a teenager, a pioneering/trapper/old-timer got me to eat some of his beaver peperoni. {No, this is not some sort of joke; it is the honest to God truth.} Despite all the chemicals and spices used, you could still taste the strong flavour of the beaver meat.

This post started back in 2010 when times were easier for Canadians. Fast forward to 2024.

It’s an interesting question 14 short years later.

I’ll start.
I’m proud to be a Canadian, though not proud of our government. I’m proud of my family, and Canadian resilience through troubled times.

As a Canadian, what are you proud of be it personally or otherwise?
