Have you ever been to a hockey game where they didn't play Raise a Little Hell?
I think it's quite appropriate.

No doping issues to speak of

No security issues to speak of

I think these Olympics set a new world standard in both areas.

Although financially we will have a long, long hangover, it was sure nice to enjoy the drunk today.

NO KIDDING! I was disappointed when there was no Rush.

Overall we should be proud of what Canada accomplished. It didn't happen in Montreal. It didn't happen it Calgary. But it did happen in Vancouver 14 times. Did you believe. Not only did we get the gold medal on home soil for the first time we also broke records. Most gold medals by a host country and most gold medals by any country(old 1 was 13). There were so many great moments in these Olympics. It would be hard to pick 1 or even top 10. we accomplished a lot in these Olympics. the crowds were like nothing before inside and outside. These will go down as 1 of the greatest Olympics in history. I am so proud to be a CANADIAN. :nyah: :discodance:

A most appropriate statement. Once in a while it's fun to cut loose and boy did we cut loose.

It's kinda sad that Canadians have this problem with being able to feel national pride in any way whatsoever unless they spend $10B they don't have on something they can't pay for without going into massive debt.

Why does being a proud Canadian have to be at the expense of Canada?

GF - this is getting off topic. Do you have something to add to PROUD moments for Canada?

Absolutely, Jenny!!!

I am proud to be a Canadian every day.

One moment that I felt the proudest was standing on a bridge in Illinois watching the July 4th parade. I saw all those red, white and blue flags and I stood just a little taller because I am Canadian.

I am a proud Canadian when I help my next door neighbour because that's just what Canadians do.

I am a proud Canadian when I see other countries struggling amid masses of corrupt poverty because Canada may have poverty but it isn't the whole country that's corrupt.

I am a proud Canadian when I hear children laughing - because they can.

Want me to go on???

None of these cost $10B+ to make me feel pride in being Canadian.
