How do you know what party i support.?

I guess you *bleep*umed that because one can see right through your blind hate for someone and the party they represent and are insisting on making something out of nothing.

With parliament shut down for 22 days, it gave us a chance to watch the olympics without watching layton and iggy strute their stuff for the cameras. It gave Harper a chance to be :bump: :nyah: our representative as P>M> to welcome the world and not make a political comedy that the other two would have liked to do.

And you would seriously rather see a career politician like Jack Layton, a guy who has basically never had a real job in his entire life running Canada with zero real world business experience?

Fo rmer Conservative MP Rahim Jaffer pleaded guilty Tuesday to careless driving, was fined $500, and had cocaine possession and drunk driving charges withdrawn.

Jaffer was arrested on Sept. 11, 2009. Jaffer, the husband of Simcoe-Grey MP and Tory junior cabinet minister Helena Guergis, was staying in Angus, Ont., in Guergis's riding, at the time of the arrest.

In 1997, at age 25, Jaffer became one of the youngest MPs elected to the House of Commons, representing Edmonton-Strathcona, which he held until the 2008 election, when he lost by 442 votes to NDP candidate Linda Duncan.

Jaffer first faced controversy in 2001 when his staffer Matthew Johnston was caught impersonating him on a Vancouver radio show. Jaffer apologized to the House of Commons and was temporarily relegated to the back benches.

Guergis has had some negative headlines of her own recently after she was forced to apologize for her behaviour at the Charlottetown Airport on Feb. 19.

P.E.I. Liberal MP Wayne Easter said he spoke with airport staff and confirmed the allegations contained in an anonymous letter that described what happened.

e letter said security asked Guergis to remove her boots after she set off the metal detector. Guergis sat down and replied "Happy f---ing birthday to me! I guess I'm stuck on this hellhole!"

Guergis later said she was rushing to catch a flight and "spoke emotionally to some staff members

no absolutly not , dnt matter what party. thats why i think having parties to begin with is flawed, democratic countries need to be voting for a person, not a party. trust me nab i dnt trust iggy after i learned more about him, but, i also think theres few things harpers done that warrents time up.

now am i living in a dream world thinking evrything is just going to change overnight ? yes i would be, but if canadians held the politicians accountable and ment it , mabey things would slowly change, mabey senators should be voted in prvt citizens , so many per province , instead of freinds and buddies of what ever parties in power.

infact as a example i think it should be the ppl that back the conservatives now , the biggest vocal critics of the goverment in power now.you voted them in, makem explain their postions in plain english , not oh we will have a study or inquiry.

now about the detainie problem in afganistan , i think certain members of the oppostion should get the proper clearance and see the full report, im not buying the national defence argument when potentialy the goverment could fall and lose and then one the other parties is going to see the report anyways. atleast in the states they do things that way , give the other party security clearance to see sensitive documents,
.

its same crap here in bc, for what ever reason the gordo clown show got voted in , his goverment has gone so far out in right field no one has a clue what they even thinking anymore, plus they flat out lying to get in power, who can defend that.

even though most ppl may not like the party that will take over if the current party is ejected, how else can we as canadians say we dont like what you did or what you doing, for punishment your out

So in other words he can be an idiot but as long as he is a transparent idiot so everyone can clearly see he has no clue what he is doing in a very transparent manner he get’s your vote?

So with all the Liberal crying about not being able to sit in the house because it was shut down.If you watch the live parliament coverage on tv today you would have noticed that behind Iggy there were mostly empty seats.Behind Harper the seats were all full.Where are all the liberals? Why aren't they in the house asking their silly questions..Looks like they don't know what they want.
They spent so much time running around crying that the sky was falling the sky was falling the sky was falling, because they could not be in the house asking questions.Well the sky didn't fall in and life is going along. Now they can be in the house and they don't even have the courtesy to show up to work.
