Both my father and myself have dealt with Do O'Farrel for our surgeries. He comes across as very stern but in fact we had a good, positive experience with him.

Steer clear! They don't call him Wrong Foot O'Farrel for nothing.......Nurses I know that work at the hospital have nothing good to say about him. My doctor refuses to send his patients to him. Put it this way.....there is not much if any waiting list if you are sent to him. He is also in bed with ICBC. So if you are ever in an accident and are sent to him, he tends to minimize your injuries on his report sent to ICBC. I know this from experience. The guy should have his license pulled.........but he is protected.

lol...well I have had 3 surgeries by him. 2 on my right knee and one on my left wrist.

I'm still alive!!!

He does not have the best bedside manner, and he may have even done surgeries that weren't succesful in the past...but consider this...he has been doing surgeries on joint areas for 40+ years. Of course you'll hear some complaints. But there are probably 100-1 that will recommend him.
