Do you have a link to go with that post?
Possibly because Erza Levant wrote it - a conservative activist.

Re: Election Day
David Frum wrote this review, he use to write George Bush's speeches.
Now I'm not saying the reviews aren't accurate, I am merely pointing out that know right-wingers have written them and their integrity is now questionable.

What are you talking about? Ezra Levant is the posterboy for neutrality!

David Frum is not much better.
Don't take my silence to mean I've agreed with you; I easily could've just lost interest in explaining how wrong you are.

"I'm a conservative Republican, have been all my adult life. I volunteered for the Reagan campaign in 1980. I've attended every Republican convention since 1988. I was president of the Federalist Society chapter at my law school, worked on the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal and wrote speeches for President Bush—not the "Read My Lips" Bush, the "Axis of Evil" Bush. I served on the Giuliani campaign in 2008 and voted for John McCain in November. I supported the Iraq War and (although I feel kind of silly about it in retrospect) the impeachment of Bill Clinton. I could go on, but you get the idea."-David Frum

Well whomever reviewed the book and didn't agree with it, or what awards the author received - I think we can all agree that Evangelical Christians are a scary bunch, and they have no place making choices for the rest of Canadians. Of course, good ol' Stockwell Day thinks the fact he believes the earth is 6000 years old has no effect on his power of reasoning and understanding - its a question of faith! (lol)
IMO, the National Post criticizes anyone that doesn't unequivocally support Israel, hence they didnt like what Marci McDonald had to say.
Just look up Noam Chomsky's Propaganda Model to explain that one.

Gotta admit - that's a pretty spookum merry go-round.
I once lived just a stone's throw away from a family who all died of mysterious head injuries.
