Tonight is going to be the last of the home made corn chowder, loaded with veggies, that I made from Day's corn last Summer, and of course a cheesy bread stick (that I made yesterday)....all hot and buttered.

Mild Cajun chicken wings with salad & veggies. Leftovers for work tomorrow.

Me and hot spicy food... don’t get along very well.

  great looking pie. And you'll have leftovers for tomorrow.

Tonight will be grilled bone-in rib eye steak (my only steak this year) along with stuffed double-baked potato, steamed asparagus, broccoli and Brussels sprouts and a small Caesar salad.

What a meal we had tonight.
My wife hasn't much to do being that we're keeping our bubble small, so she really went to town tonight. And all Italian!
First up was polenta, with chicken.

Then came a side dish of gnocchi, made from our own potatoes.
Dessert was zabaione. Made with a touch of Amaretto.
And all washed down with the better part of a bottle of Valpolicella.

Now we have leftovers for a night or two. But no more of that to-die-for zabaione.

I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.
