I read every bloody study available when dad was hospitalized and don't look toward anyone to tell me how to live my life, least of all people who keep throwing out "doomsday theories" with nothing to backup their claims.

I have some respiratory health issues and have been getting a flu shot (under the advisement of my GP) for the past 4 years and 'so far' I have not had a cold or flu. Touch wood. I will be getting my flu shot this next month. And no, even in my dotage I do not suffer from all the boogymen diseases associated with 'flu shots'.
