Fire Trucks Above Smith Creek (Edit: Medical Incident)
Multiple fire trucks have gone up upper Smith Creek Rd in the last few minutes. I can't see anything from Copper Ridge. Can anyone a little further away see anything going on up there? I just heard a helicopter too...

I also heard the sirens and saw the chopper. I have a view of the area and see no smoke. Roots can smoulder for a very long time. There may be a crew still cold trailing over there.

Thanks. I just saw one of the trucks come back down so I'll take that as a good sign. I think all of us in the neighbourhood are a little jumpy after last week especially considering the way the weather is heating up again.

I just asked our reporters about this and they said a man was injured up in that area after being trampled by a horse.

Thought it had to be medical, the chopper was a medivac chopper.
Never argue with an idiot, they will just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Ouch! Hope he comes out okay!
And Troy, I wanted to take a moment to thank you guys for providing this forum for us. It has been hands-down the best and fastest source of information on these fires and just about anything else that goes on in this pleasantly screwy town. I know a lot of us *bleep* and moan about a lot of things but really, you guys rock.
