Things to do in Enderby area, drive-in is one of only 2 in BC. http://www.starlightdrivein.ca/

I suspect some (okay many) residents along lower Shuswap will welcome this of course those with boats larger then 10hp (especially jet boats) not so much.

This bridge is long overdue for a serious replacement, I remember the bridge at Enderby was a wooden bridge like this one.

I would still like to see a new bridge at this location.

Especially if logging is still being done and logging trucks are using this bridge. Plus dairy farm milk pick up, number of large trucks use this old wooden bridge.

Work to be done on the old Baxter bridge, according to article a new bridge is planned... current wooden bridge is 70+ years old.

Bsuds' article is from last April. A 70+ year old bridge surely couldn't need repairs again.

Probably right...I'm going to be 72 and everything works perfect, works perfect, works perfect! :biggrin:
