Re: BC Election issues
The other important thing in the polls is that the NDP are doing poorly in semi-rural and rural areas. That tends to skew the results that matter. A typical urban metropolitan riding will have 30% higher population than a semi or rural riding. So overall polling skews toward ridings like Vancouver Hastings which does not translate into more seats.
In the background the NDP have a softer voter support, and a softer support for Horgan. So every time Horgan has "a moment", support is more likely to bleed away.
But once again, none of that matters. Only election day matters.

Re: BC Election issues
Actually, the way I read the poll results, the Green party has been picking up support from both the Liberals and NDP in equal amounts.
BUT, the "tea leaves" in the polls indicate that former Liberal voters are more likely to swing back to the Liberals if they sense the need to vote against the NDP.
Kinda matches where I am at, I like a lot of the Green positions, but will not tolerate the possibility of an NDP win. So a bit stuck.

HG, we're all stuck.

Sure thing, you throw your hat in with the Green Party and you've got my vote.

Who let the dogs out.....woof, woof, woof! What's the topic again? Oh yeah, 'BC Election issues'. Lately the topic appears to have been changed to 'Desperation sets in at BC Liberal fan club office'.

Desperation Liberals is right.
I see Liberal supporters are going over to the Greens.
But other than a few seats the Greens have a long way to go.

Confident?
Greens could easily crate a larger Clark majority
Even though the Liberals get less %age votes.
Must get PR.

From where I stand, it seems much more like you are fearful that the Greens may well outperform your party.
There's only one poll that counts and it's not the ones you've been looking at.
I see NDP supporters going over to the Greens too so big deal.
If you weren't fearful you wouldn't feel the need to keep preaching to others not to vote for the Greens.
Too bad for you at least the Greens have a sensible platform, with something major that yours party lacks, what might that be.............. oh yeah the Green's platform is fully costed out. That would be as opposed to your NDP who simply want voters to trust them with the keys to the kingdom, and unknown tax hikes.
Can't you just see a businessman walking into a bank and saying, yeah I want to make some improvements, and upgrades to my equipment, and need some money please. Banker says how much money? Business man replies, oh I'll figure it out along the way, just give me the combination to the vault.
Seems like a sound business plan, one any banker would jump on right away, no?
That's essentially exactly what you and the orange team want the voters to do. Best of luck with that.

Any elected govt has the combination to the vault.
Get real.
Liberals are wise to vote Green...move Clark out.

Yeah and those had costed out platforms. Hint!

Voters are wise to vote Green or Liberal, and put an end to the orange plague once and for all.

Re: BC Election issues
I think if more people took the time to actually read the Green Party Platform, many of them would change their mind about giving them their vote.
