Why? If your rights are not at stake why should it matter to you?Jflem1983 wrote:I vowed long ago to vote for pro gun people . In fact it's why I'm a conservative. We will never have more pro gun candidate than Chuck . For this he has my support .

This is about Chuck. I support Chuck because he is a pro gun candidate . I will continue to support pro gun candidates wherever I go and whenever I get the chance . I am sorry that seems to strike a nerve with you . Personally it makes me sick people vote for liberals and all that represents . Unfortunately for me . There are not many people who vote solely on gun issues like I do. If we had more of them . We would see common sense return. It's never gonna happen . We can make a small difference by sending one gun packing local to Victoria
Now they want to take our guns away . That would be just fine. Take em away from the criminals first . Ill gladly give u mine. "Charlie Daniels"

Nothing worse than a gun toting Religious Wing nut. How can anyone say that they are religious and be pro-gun. Oh I know...they only shoot at gun ranges and target practice; never at a human. Rubbish.JLives wrote:So he's religious and likes guns. I guess that's enough for some people.
They need to read #6 of of the Ten Commandments: "Thou Shalt not Kill or Murder". The taking of human life is expressly forbidden.

Sounds like Chuck does not have your support . What can we do to bring you around on that.pentona wrote:Nothing worse than a gun toting Religious Wing nut. I'm asking the question of why you support gun loving candidates like Chuck. That issue isn't coming up anytime soon so why is it your deciding factor? And why does loving guns equate with having common sense?Jflem1983 wrote:This is about Chuck. I support Chuck because he is a pro gun candidate . Shouldn't have mentioned two things: Gun toter and Religious. Can't be both and be believed. He has a snowball's chance, anyways. Not worth talking about.Jflem1983 wrote:

Re: Candidate Chuck Hardy
I've been in some tough spots in life . I learned on the wrong end of a 9mm how badly we need the right to defend ourselves . It was a life changing experience. Consider yourself blessed you have not learned everything the hard way . It is perfectly rational common sense to want the right to self defence . Our freedoms are constantly under attack . Be it from developing wild spaces . Illegal dumping . Mud boggers idiots with guns who can't pick up after themselves . Every shooting is yet another excuse for some spineless politician to try and gain favor with a gun ban or a gate in front of a logging road etc . How you seem unable to notice what is happening all around us . That defies common sense in my opinion . But you seem to be a happy liberal so what can I say . To each their own

I'm not an anything. I support Direct Democracy and feel we should be at the stage of voting on issues, not people or parties. We're a very outdoorsy family who hunt and fish. I spent several hours yesterday in the mountains shooting my bow. It never occurred to me until you said it that you wanted them for protection from other peopleJflem1983 wrote:I've been in some tough spots in life . In my home they are a tool for acquiring food and are properly stored so that accessing them quickly would be impossible. We have children in the home so this is an absolute necessity. I don't support gun laws allowing for their use as a defense weapon unless it's defense from wild animals on your property. We have a justice system for a reason when it comes to dealing with people. I like our gun laws right where they are and wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for sharing your view.

Re: Candidate Chuck Hardy
Absolutely not...I am a Christian who doesn't believing in killing, period. Read commandment #6. If nobody packed guns, nobody would need guns for defense. So many so-called religious folk break every rule in the book during the week, then as long as they repent on Sundays, they figure that all is good. Rubbish! Any Politician who promotes guns and claims to be religious is a Hypocrite. Won't get my vote.Jflem1983 wrote:
