Yes, they are sending more people in to assist with exhausted RCMP members. And yes, 10 days too late, but it's not like the military hasn't been here assisting.djbarnes wrote:These guys should have been in the province 10 days ago!!!!!!!!!

The Canadian Armed Forces has already sent a number of personnel, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft to the province to help in the firefight.
Good to know.
And I see that dastardly Horgan is working well with what the Liberals started with. What with promising to "do whatever it takes" and extending budgets towards fire fighting.

Why did they drive tanks all the way out? What they going to use them for? starting fires to do backburns?

Looks like a Coyote to me.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Re: Military in the Cariboo
I have been away for several days, no internet connection.
Although late in arriving, am glad to see some help in this catastrophic time coming from the feds.
Does anyone know how many personnel arrived and are they still there?
People i have chatted with seem to think they have returned home.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

I am a "military expert" (well maybe not an expert but career military at least, close enough for Castanet) and I can say that is NOT a tank.Glacier wrote:I'm not military expert, but these things look like tanks. Picture taken in Williams Lake today.Queen K wrote:Tanks? Where?

Meh, tank, coyote, penis -- they all seem the same to me.
