Re: Provincial joke
Funny how the haters only remember their favourite parts of the Fast Ferries fiasco. They conveniently forget that hundreds of people received skilled training during the program and many industries IN BC benefited from supply contracts. Fast ferries are very popular and well used in other parts of the world. The Libs sold them to friends for a fraction of the price that had been offered by other companies. The corporation that bought them made a huge profit re-selling them. The biggest scandal was the pennies on the dollar sale , which was 100% a SoCred / Liberal scam. BC used to have a shipbuilding industry , but the Liberals decimated it. We buy "made in Europe" ferries now.

and then BC Re-Elected him!! Two more times! Wonder how many of us would keep our jobs if our employer found out that we drove drunk.

Just goes to prove how bad of an option voting NDP was to those who voted.

Re: Provincial joke
There is a huge difference between building ships and ferries in BC and elsewhere. If a ship is built in BC, the BC government auditor can dig through the entire deal. If ships are built elsewhere, like in Poland where the BC Liberals had some ferries built, there is no audit possible. And some money can be sent under the table to a bank account in the Bahamas.
This same thing happened with the Vancouver Olympics when all kinds of contracts were awarded to offshore, numbered, companies. The Canadian auditor had no access to where the money flowed.
Building ships locally is not a joke. Yes, the fast ferries were poorly designed, but at least they weren't subject to Liberal corruption under the table.
